Selangor 2, the Selangor FC feeder team will finish their Liga Premier 2021 campaign this season against Kelantan FC on September 21 (Tuesday) at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, Kota Bharu.

Selangor FC 2 consists of young players from the age range of 18 to 23 years old who were established in 2020 after the Selangor FA merged with PKNS FC at the end of the 2019 season. The long-term goal of establishing this team is to provide backup players who are ready to fill vacancies in the main squad when needed.

Ranked 6th in the league with 24 points, Selangor FC 2 head coach Michael Feichtenbeiner wants his boys to get a win for the final match of the season after the league organizer, Malaysian Football League (MFL) decided that the Challenge Cup tournament for this year was canceled.

"Their last match is against Kelantan FC, which I definitely want success from them and even though the feeder team cannot play on the Malaysia Cup or Challenge Cup stage, we want to finish this season with a win," said Coach Michael.

"We know the Red Warrior team is doing their best to get the best spot to be in group B or D in the Malaysia Cup later, but I will make sure these young players will not give them an easy path."

Selangor FC wishes the Selangor FC 2 team good luck in their last match of the season in the 2021 Premier League. May success belong to these young players!
